Lend a hand to the Marines of the Atlanta chapter of Toys For Tots. We need your help to make the Christmas wishes of area children come true this holiday season.

Position: Receptionist
Shift/Hours: Day Shift (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) Evening Shift (4:00 p.m. – 8 p.m.)
Reports to: Project Coordinator
Type of Personality: Outgoing, friendly, likes to make people feel welcome

Description:
• Field incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate person
• Greet guests, determining the appropriate person to connect them with (i.e., donating, retrieving a scheduled pick-up, etc.)
• Back up to warehouse admin in phone calls to schedule appointments
• Maintaining an orderly environment in the receiving area (straightening magazines, removing cups, etc.)
• Analyze incoming information to determine the best direction to send a guest, caller or sponsor

Skills needed:
• Maintain a neat, orderly environment
• Able to operate a phone system
• A good phone presence
• Cheerful disposition
• Someone who manages personalities well (i.e., irate parent or donor, etc.)
• Able to assess what a visitor’s needs are and how to direct them
• Can manage a calendar to schedule appointments
• Able to communicate clearly and consistently with callers, guests, and sponsors
